Montana is known for some of the best fly
fishing in the world and we're right in the
center of fly fishing paradise. Imagine
being surrounded by five famous Montana fly
fishing trout streams, all with different
fly action. We have a beautiful fishing
lodge you can relax in, experienced fishing
guides at your disposal — everything you
need for a great fly fishing vacation.
All our surrounding fly fishing rivers
fish very well in early and late spring with
very little pressure in any of the rivers.
These are our favorite fly fishing streams:
- Ruby River—awesome dry fly action
- Madison River—best float fishing
- Big Hole River—stonefly hatch season
is great
- Beaverhead River—large brown trout
We will be bringing a
drift boat along for the entire trip.
when booking your trip be sure to sign up
for a day or two of floating one of the
river listed above. The cost is $75.00
per day to help out with gas and shuttle
fees. The lodge we will be staying at
also has access to local fishing guides for
$375.00 per day for two people.
Fishing Licenses:
Anyone who fishes will need either a $70.00
Season License with Conservation included; a
$10.00 Conservation License plus $15 for two
consecutive days of fishing; or, a $10.00
Conservation License plus $43.50 for ten
consecutive days of fishing. You may
obtain fishing licenses online from the
Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks
Summer Dude Ranch
This Lodge is one of the
best family vacations spots in Montana. Our
summer dude ranch has it all: comfortable
lodging, horseback riding (of course!),
hiking, fly fishing, float trips, scenic
rides, basketball, horseshoes, late night
campfires, and more! Oh, did we mention the
awesome scenery, the wildlife, and the fresh
mountain air? You can also visit some great
tourist attractions nearby such as the
historical mining town of Virginia City,
Robbers Roost, Lewis and Clark Caverns,
Bannack State Park, and Yellowstone National
Park.
